How to Determine the amount of osmocote to add

I read the label online and I would like to know how much you would add per gallon.
My containers are 10 gallons. I will be growing cherry tomatoes. I won't add any fir now until they start blossoming and fruiting unless you advise otherwise.

I usually only use Osmocote for my flowers. I like to know exactly what I'm putting into my food plants.

Not really enough information to provide a correct answer. Osmocote makes a lot of different products, and you didnt mention which one.

Right
For my tomatoes. I only see one product flower and vegetable.

I use 1 T for a 10" nursery pot. I also fertilize during the season with a liquid fertilizer. So I would GUESS maybe 5T per your pot, nor do I think you can actually put too much on the plant. I have never burned a plant with osmocote. I also put it on when I plant my plants. I wouldn't wait for a blossom to add it. the plant needs nutrition of some kind long before you see a bud.
