How to do it top to bottom

Have been looking at 'A LOT' of tomato information

1-Planting; Epsom salt 1 table , fertilizer 1/2 cup, aspron 1 ground, compost 1 cup What do you think?

2-Early growth; nitrogen or blood meal to get things going. How much, how often?

3-Prevention and use; baking soda 1 table -gallon, 1 aspirin crushed -gal. & 1 table dish soap, epsom salt 2 table -gal spray monthly, Ocean trace 1 tea -gal. How and when do you use all of this stuff?

4-Fertilizer; 1 cup in hole @ plant, side dress @ fruit set then every 4 weeks 2-3 tables per plant. What do I do with my new super duper compost tea? How and when?

5- Disease; Do you start the baking soda & aspirin early before you see any disease?
Do you also spray the Ocean Trace?

6-Chemicals; Early blight - Daconil Weekly for early blight it or baking soda? Maneb late blight, when & how often? Before or after you see it?

THIS IS NOT A JOKE
I did all this reading & research online and I REALLY need some feedback. I know time is a factor but if you could just make one comment on an item.

Most of those things (IMO) are just personal practice without any scientific support.
For example take number 1 :

1-Planting; Epsom salt 1 table , fertilizer 1/2 cup, aspron 1 ground, compost 1 cup What do you think?

Your soil might not need Epsom salt or even fertilizer at the plant out time. It might not need compost either. ASPIRIN (Tums, eggshell ) ?? are old wives tales to me.

You can plant ind good established, well amended garden soil without any of those thins at the plant out.

I suggest you to go some university extension sites ( Cornell, MO, WA ..) and do some reading.

First of all, Welcome to T'ville. As for your request I do not feel qualified to offer a bebeficial opinion. I do some of the things listed but not all.

Rick... I don't know the sites you have been getting your information from, but alot of it I would not use.

If your smart and you want to grow some nice healthy plants I would go through the threads here in all the different sections. You'll find answers to just about every possible tomato question there is and if you have a new one, well the experts here will have an answer for you.

The folks here at TV are some of the best growers around. This is their life's blood and they do it good. Thankfully they the good, kind hearted folks they are and are willing to share their information and help the rest of us to grow.

I would recommend if your starting with seed, go down to the main seed forum section and look through threads on how to germinate or ask. I know even though there may be tons of former threads, the folks here still take time to post to each question.

If you follow the advice of the folks here as you go along and as your plants grow, you won't need to be worrying about what you read on the net from who knows who.

Take it one step at a time. If you take a bit of time everyday and read the threads and posts, you can just about find out everything you want or need to know.

Can I grow tomatoes and pepper? Yes. But I want to grow healthy exceptional plants and this is an awesome place with even awesomer folks to learn how to do it. They are not going to steer you wrong.

My recommendations:
Eliminate steps 1-6 from your list. You are going to completely destroy your soil with all that.

Instead.
1. Get a soil test.
2. Supplement organically according to the soil test recommendations.
