Global bucket question

Has anyone tried gardening with the one bucket global bucket system, using an inverted colander at tge bottom of tge bucket? Do you have any results or experiences to share? Thanks so much in advance!

I used it for the first time last year. Was most impressed using Alaska Grow Buckets.

I have used them extensively and am currently growing the dwarf varieties in them with great results. I think they do need more frequent watering then the larger growing containers and have them hooked up to an automatic watering system. Great mini gardens with little investment of time or effort.

I am using them for eggplants and determinate tomatoes.

I use this system to self water all of them, and a net cup; the cup fits perfectly in the round circle on the bottom of the 5 gallon

I am all about container gardening. Global buckets are great but the plumbing is tedious IMO. Larry Hall's RGGS answers that problem for me. I love it.

I may try the rain gutter system next year; much more modular and I can move plants by height as they grow
