S...I try to use 15 gallon nursery pots or larger. Keep in mind....they are not really 15 gallon (liquid) sized. I suppose a determinate tomato would grow in a 5 gallon bucket (I would not use a 5 gal nursery pot). Last week I actually painted my nursery pots flat white with a roller. It was fast and cheap. Years ago I remember a car salesman taking me through the lot and having me put my hand on the hoods of different colored cars. Wow! What a difference in temperatures from white to black. Very impressive.

I do have some pots, I will use till they break. You can notice plants are greener and larger in the fabric containers. The 4th pot down and all the rest are root pouches. Yes a blue merle Australian Shepherd 100% Aussie, AKC registered, not a mix. His full name is "Drew's Jesse of Russell Isle".
