overactive bladder?
Last year, I suffered from overactive bladder during peak tomato season. The doctor asked if my eating habits had changed .. and the only difference was, I was eating 20+ cherry tomatoes and 1 large tomato a day. The problem went away when tomato season ended. coincidence or tomatoes do that? if they do, I suppose I need to watch my tomato intake this season |

They can because of the acid in them can irritate your bladder and make you want to go all of the time.
This happens to me during fruit season and I get hold of good fruit. I will eat 10 or 12 plums or peaches a day. Does it bother me, no. I drink so much water every day I have to go all of the time anyway. Worth |

At least it's good to know that one's kidneys function properly - the alternative isn't funny at all...
I might be still young (in my forties), but as an avid water drinker, I spend quite a bit of time in the loo... I tell everyone it's better to drink plenty and have to go than try to have a dry motor! |

Well, I turn most of my tomatoes into tomato juice and I drink it with my beer - about 5 dozen quarts of tomato juice per year. Been doing this for about 25 years or more, and I've not noticed any kind of "Bladder" problem.
Er .... uh .... 'scuse me. I'll be right back. You know - old man - gotta go when we gotta go. ![]()

Youth is wasted on the young! Take down their names and we'll do a roll call in 20 years and see if they stil think it's funny.

Tomatoes and peppers are on a list of things that can irritate an irritable bladder.
