Default REMOVING LIGHT

When do you remove the light from a tom?? I have a small greenhouse. My plants are are about two feet tall is it time to get rid of the lights? I have them about three feet away now. They seem to be doing well.

My tomatoes only get artificial light if they are growing in the basement. They don't get artificial light if growing in a greenhouse.

At three feet the light is probably casting shade rather than adding light. I use light only when there is less than 8 hours of light a day. I try to give them 12 hours of something. We live close to the lake so we get a lot of overcast winter days and I keep the light right at plant level.
