Mulberry, yes.
But, Morus alba (white) or Morus rubra (red)? Your zone 4 tells me it's not Morus nigra (black). White mulberry will have undersides of leaves smooth, red mulberry will have undersides hairy. Red mulberries are usually a dark red, while white mulberries can be almost white to pale pink, pale lavender, a dark red to almost black, and maybe some other colors. If there is no male pollinator nearby, fruit will be seedless (like my mulberry ![]() Unfortunately, birds has been eating nearly all of the fruit this year. ![]() Gary |
