First year growing Neptune, will probably also be my last. Suprisingly, It appears less heat tolerant than any of my other plants. Prolific, but most fruit was culled do to sunscald and rot. Taste is nothing special at all, though its not bad.

"Titan Red" is my new big red determinate tomato. The fruit are very large and taste good. The plant is productive. It's a mid-season tomato, more so than an early one, but everything else about the variety makes up for that. I am going to save a lot of seeds and grow a lot of this variety next year.

I am still going with The miracle BPF pretty sure my first tomato of the season will be this. But it is small. So save me some Titan seeds and we will make some kind of trade? OK?

Cole, I'm curious to know how Little Bells is working out for you?

My determinate reds this year are Little Bells, Mr. Bruno and Jagodka, and Little Bells is most impressive of the three at this stage (fruit still green and untasted). Little Bells has been super for cold tolerance and earliness. Bruno didn't really set the first two clusters so is in catch up mode, and Jagodka set later than either of them and has a lot of leaf troubles - not liking the climate here.

I got a little seed of Titan and Cole in the swaps, also one called Ballada, but didn't have room for them this time.

Forgot to mention, I also have Altajskiy Urozajniy, which is a super sturdy plant and looks to be a midseason larger fruited type - had to stick it outdoors because it was overrun with fungus gnats, so I don't think it has set yet. Not the earliest, for sure.

Little Bells is a larger plant than Cole, but I like the flavor of Cole better. Yield is not that great. Like most new varieties I try, I'm glad I tried it, but I don't see myself growing it again. I'd grow Gribovskiy again before I'd grow Little Bells.

Little Bells is shaping up to a better yield than the other two here, but I'll definitely try Cole if the flavour is better.
Gribovsky sounds awesome.

I think there's a Titan and a Titan Red. I have read on here someone say that Titan Red was a commercial variety from the Ukraine.

That's not the Titan Red I am growing, though. Maybe there are several tomatoes called Titan.

I am impressed with burbank slicing tomato or burbank slicer.
plant is two ft tall x two ft wide. loaded with fruit and blossoms.
It's a nice surprise.
