Rutgers are a great tomato for sure. I grow them because they were started in jersey and I always figured they would thrive here. another great tomato started at Rutgers collage is the Ramapo which is just as prolific producing large 1lb tomato's. great tasting softball sized tomato's.

Scott,
I have always enjoyed the taste of Rutgers. I have found them to always produce a heavy yield.
