When and how do I downsize picture? Does it need to be done before I even start with the go advanced and choosing the upload image?

Yes it does you have to do it with what ever you have on your computer I use Microsoft pictuer manager or you can use Microsoft paint. On my phone I downloaded a photo resizer. Worth |

My other computer died and I didn't want to have to cope with windows anymore so I just got this Apple computer and learning how to use it so guess I have to figure out what's on it or if I have to install something. Guess I'll have to go to search and help and see what I can find on photo downsizing. Thanks for replying so I know where to go from here. Will try again later if I find the answer.

Thanks for your feedback Henry. I truly appreciate it! I'm really lost on the new Mac. Need to sign up for some classes for just the basics. Posting now...fingers crossed. |

Guess I don't need to say I failed to resize it correctly. I really thought it was going to work. I previewed it and appeared to have been resized so moved it back to my photo's and well above shows my results. Thanks again Henry.

Grabbed your photo the size was 1250 by 950, change the width to 600 in preview adjust size the size is now 600 by 450. The resize box shows the photo size before you change it.

Change the file name a bit when you save it. I then go to file in preview click on export choose a file I wish to put the photo in this makes the photo easy to find.

I did resize it to 600 on the top box and it automatically changed the other box but I didn't see a save so must be one reason why it didn't work. Also will take your suggestion on changing name and other instructions. Thank you Henry.

My fail, the resize box just has a Ok that needs clicking. The save options are in the File dropdown box.
