Default I can't trust my wife with fireworks..

Last summer we were doing fireworks in the backyard and my wife who usually does not want to light them decided to give it a try. With her luck it went out of control and landed right in one of my porterhouse tomatoes! I still tease her about it.

Okay, that is just funny

My wife saves our change all year just so we can buy fireworks.

That picture reminded me of the below, "Trip to the moon" by Jules Verne.

Sorry to be laughing, but that is just too funny. I've read alot about different things happening to folks tomatoes, but I think yours belongs up there in the top ten.

Poor thing, she'll probably never that one down. : )

I don't let her live it down, but she's a good sport!

What are the odds of that happening? Hilarious!

My neighbor's kids and now grandkids love fireworks. I have found many spent bottle rockets in the garden but never an impacted tomato or anything else. Great shot. Hers and yours with the camera.

You could not do that again if you tried! Looks like it would have been a beautiful tomato!
