update 4 April

Project complete! WOW what a lot of work!

We hapened to get a calm evening last night so we started with the poly film about 630p; got done around 830p, it was almost dark.

One of the toughest parts about the film was the gosh darnoodley spacer blocks; jury still out whether they are worth as much as they cost.

Ended up going with about 3.5 yards of compost and 3.5 yards of sandy loam top soil from my parents farm.
Also added 15 cu ft. of pine bark, then tilled together. I don't think I got down to the hard pack clay with the tiller. Maybe will next yr.

Got the potatoes in today and also kicked out the seedlings and a habanero pepper.

haven't totaled up receipts (prob. never will) but I would say right around $6k. Took 3 of us working 12 hr days roughly 5.5 days to complete but this was our first time.
