Hi Raybo,

The garden looks wonderful as usual. I always look forward to your first photos of the season. Seems like you've pretty much settled on your favorite "must haves"

. I finally set out 14 plants today (but alas, no Dona F1 this year). I had planned to do it yesterday but it was crazy windy out this way. As you said, it now looks like clear sailing for the next 10+ days

Glad to hear your Season is off to a good start as well.

Was out doing some pruning a few minutes ago and discovered fruitset on one of the Bloody Butcher plants:

Any updates / more recent pictures.

In particular, I would love to see your cucumbers. I grow 2 seeds in an EB and the plants get HUGE.

Hi Barb,

I will be doing my once per month photo update again on May 17 (2 months after plant-out). In the meantime the 8 cuke plants per EarthBox are doing extremely well in their vertical trellis arrays... I know I am teasing you so stay tuned on May 17.

I am using 3 cups of Old TomatoTone per EarthTainer supplemented by some water soluble 20-20-20 via an EZ Flo unit in my AWS watering system

ETA - I finally realized that my EB (tomatoes) after 1st truss/and smaller 2nd truss run out of food. (using 3 C of 3-4-6 tomato tone). I can see why the old TT would work better.

Barb,

You may want to add a Tablespoon of Texas Tomato Food down the Filler Tube every so often to keep the tomato plants well fed during your growing season. The fertilizer strip of New TomatoTone 3:4:6 depletes rather rapidly.
