Default To vent or not

When composting manure such as rabbit, can the container be closed or does it need to be vented. Not sure about gas build up. I don't plan to have compost sitting out in a pile.

Rabbit manure you really don't need to compost. You can put it straight on the garden without worry of burning anything. You can store them in a container with no issues.

Rabbits poo all over the lawn and gardens and nothing burns.
