Default Looking forward to 2017

It's been since last April since I posted on this board.
2016 was not a good garden year for me - by the time I got my beans, peas and lettuce planted (in late April), I jumped into a major kitchen remodeling project that lasted the whole Summer. I did get most of my tomato and pepper plants planted at the end of May, but that is really where it all stopped. The weather was near perfect, thankfully, because I did not water anything. I did pick a bunch of peas and beans, the lettuce withered, I harvested about 100# of tomatoes total, but zero peppers.
I still have two adjoining rooms to my kitchen yet to finish (only paint and laminate flooring left to do) but that shouldn't take too long - waiting on my tax return to fund those projects - so that will keep me busy for a few weeks in Mar/Apr, but shouldn't interfere too much with my germinating and planting out.

I do plan to set up a small indoor green house in my barely heated sunroom so that I can get started a little early with the pepper plants. All of the rest will be done on my usual schedule with hopes of a warm May so that I can transplant outdoors a little earlier.

Welcome back, good to "see" you again.

Yes,you do have a lot to do but remember what Scarlett O'Hara said to Rhett Butler in Gone With the Wind....tomorrow is another day.

What caught my eye was your comment about waiting for your tax return, and I resonate with that,I really do.
