Default The wonderment of it all

A few days back, my good friend and neighbor passed. I've been a little down since then. It is so sad for someone so vibrant to suddenly leave us. All my moping around was brought to an end today. I looked out into the pasture and there was a little new soul. I hope you can see her standing near the mother and trying to figure out her new world.

One soul lost and another gained. The ultimate rule we cannot change.

Makes you smile, doesn't it? And to think, almost like a crocus, a very early sign that spring will come again.

Awwwwwww. How sweet. I always feel sorry for the critters born during the winter cold. I know they have fur, but still, they gotta be cold too. Nice looking herd Ted. : )
