Weather : you can talk about it but cannot do anything about it.
Here , after having a July-like weather in late April , it is changing. For the next 10 days , the forecast calls for much cooler temperatures. The highs will be in mid 70s (average) and lows will go down as low as 46F. The positive view on that is that I won't be watering very often. And my cole crops got some extended stay.

I use plastic garbage bins to hold water in. The lids are not tight enough to keep the mosquitoes out but I find that old sheer curtains knotted at 4 corners to fit the bin work very well. Your tank is probably too big for anything like that though and it would be unsightly without a lid to cover with. |
