Sixteen chitted Yukon Gold Potatoes were planted in the outdoor garden. They were chitted in pots in the greenhouse for about a month to establish strong early roots. Plant spacing was one foot center to enter and row spacing was 2 feet. Each plant was marked with a stake to facilitate digging, since the vegetation will be completly gone come harvest. Expectation is about six pounds per plant.
