I read about that guy years ago. Part of his secret was his compost made from kudzu. There were other things he did but the escape me atm.

Charles Wilbur is the guys name. Plenty of info online about his techniques and I know ScottinAtlanta used to use Kudzu in his compost as well.

I would build a tripod with some 16' lengths of 2x2 or 2x4 , notch the outside of the boards every 8" or so vertically and wrap with a nylon rope at each level. Anchor the base into concrete because it will catch wind. ( just drive some nails into the boards and sink them into the concrete in a small posthole ) at this point you could also just buy a used swingset.
