Default Rosella Cherry tomato

Stopped in to my local garden center to pick up some spray concentrates. Saw a packet of tomato seeds for 'Rosella' a purple cherry tomato (no relation to Rosella Purple from the dwarf project) and had to buy one.

Anyone grow this before? It was only 15 seeds in the pack, might grow it next year.

I am growing another by this plant breeder this year--Garnet cherry.

Rosella is a variety bred by Mark Rowland of Gourmet Genetics.

I have grown Rosella (T&M), Black Opal (Casey's), and Sweet Aperitif (Casey's), and for me, only Black Opal now holds a spot in my garden - perhaps my climate does not bring out the best flavour in Rosella. Bite Size looks interesting, but seeds are $$ in NA.

Rosella was one of our favorites a few years ago. The next year we had more rain and Early Blight, it wasn't as popular.

I grew Rosella last year and LOVED it. It gave my previous favourite, Carbon Copy a run for its money!

I too am growing Garnet this year, along with Sweet Aperitif.
