roma yield
I got most of my romas in the last few days. Never grew romas before so Im not sure of the yield.
On 3 plants I got about 20 lbs so far and about 10 more I will pull by the weekend when I remove the plants from the patch. So over 3 plants I will get between 25 and 30 lbs of fruit. Is this par for the course? IMG_0377.JPG |

I have never weighed them but I usually get a 5 gallon bucket full off of every 2 plants. I think I get that about twice before they are done.

I can tell you that a vendor that we are friends of grows 10 plants and gets about 20 of those boxes like you have in the pic full. So I'd say your right at that level.
Edit: hard to tell ur box size but hers are half bushel so right at 10 bushels or 1 per plant. Last edited by BigVanVader; June 13, 2017 at 04:44 PM. |

I always got a lot of tomatoes off of Roma plants, but I never got a Roma the size of yours. Mine were always small, flush a bunch at one time, and hold green ones until frost.
Those look like Amish paste to me, but maybe I've not seen a good Roma before. |
