Default When to Start Eggplant in Zone 6B

I started most of my hottest peppers already. I am going to grow maybe 10-15 plants of eggplant. I live in SE Michigan (zone 6B). Last frost date is 5/10 to 5/15. Should I get them started now? I think they have the same growing duration as peppers. I don't want to miss the boat in starting them.

Default Starting Eggplant Seeds

Chris,
I am in 6B as well (southern Indiana) and I am starting mine this weekend (3/10 & 3/11). 7 to 8 weeks from last frost date has always worked for me.
