Worth, that sure is an antique. We have a newer version of the traditional pressure cooker that we rarely used. Recently we purchased an Instant Pot, combination pressure cooker/slow cooker, and we are amazed at how nicely and quickly it cooks.

Worth. I have found cast iron rarely at a thrift store. and the lighter stuff may not be bad. it might be a wagner. My mom has one as smooth as glass and very thin walled. She brought it with her one day when she asked me to help her make glass candy.

All the Wagner stuff was polished and they sold it in grocery stores I have one some place.
Or maybe it is the one that cracked when the stove top exploded.
What I mean by lighter stuff is stamped steel or aluminum.
