I have these growing under lights indoors, ready for a first snip - okay a little past ready. One flower opened... and it is WHITE!

and pretty large for a brassica. So cute!!!

Seems I might have put some of this out in the garden for a trial maybe two years ago. But it really looked like kale or collards and since a) I already both kale and collards growing and I was getting "greened" out and b) it was a white fly magnet, I pulled it.

Nice flower! And enjoy your greens, indoors and far from those nasty white flies!

Yeah, indoor greens are often the best.

They are not doing as well this year and may even have some tiny pest if not a nutrient deficiency, but seem to have outgrown it for the moment... They will be turfed though, at the first sign of aphids.
