I have these growing under lights indoors, ready for a first snip - okay a little past ready. One flower opened... and it is WHITE! and pretty large for a brassica. So cute!!!

Seems I might have put some of this out in the garden for a trial maybe two years ago. But it really looked like kale or collards and since a) I already both kale and collards growing and I was getting "greened" out and b) it was a white fly magnet, I pulled it.
Nice flower! And enjoy your greens, indoors and far from those nasty white flies! |

Yeah, indoor greens are often the best. They are not doing as well this year and may even have some tiny pest if not a nutrient deficiency, but seem to have outgrown it for the moment... They will be turfed though, at the first sign of aphids.
