What could these buggies be?

Hi folks!
First post! Yay...

We've been noticing on a couple of our tomato plants that many of the lower leaves have little pinholes all over them. Upon closer examination, I noticed a couple of different kinds of insects on the leaves.

One type of insect (first bug image) has the look of a tiny little tick or something. I've been finding a few here and there, but strangely not near the holes.

Another type of insect (second bug image) appears on the underside in the vicinity of the holes in question.

I could spray or hose them all off, but I'm reluctant to until I know what these are, and whether or not one type might actually be beneficial.

Any ideas? I can't seem to find any matches online...

I think you have 3 different issues going on.
that bug and the goldish "domes" on the leaf are aphids. the holes some other feeder and the bottom leaf with the yellow halo's looks like some blight is already started. pick off any leaves that look like that and put them in the trash. the aphids you can wash off. they are not a beneficial. pick off those cases too. those will be new aphids molting out.

Ahaaaaa... so they may be aphids after all!
Once the rain passes, I'll check the plants and wash them down... and trim off the blighted leaves. We've had a ton of rain in the Northeast US, so I'm not surprised.

If you have small round black beetles, they could be flea beetles. I have them on my eggplant and they make small, perfectly round holes.

Some look like parisitized aphids (aphid Mummy), you can leave them be.
