Default Pepper question....pinching fruit

I have a few pepper plants, they are a bit small still but they already growing fruit. The fruit is about half the size of a thumb....the stalk of the plant seems a bit spindly... Would I be better off pinching off some flowers and fruit to have the plant focus on getting sturdier to hold the peppers in the future?
In the past I have had plants that get so loaded down that the plants breaks off, want to avoid that. We get frosts around mid October, so plenty of time still.

Or provide plants support so they don’t break.

not just the fruit but pinch the stem to make it a much sturdier bushier plant if you want to. I pinch mine.

My vote will always be to add support to the plant and let it decide to bulk up or not. In any case, you will be rewarded with what the plant is trying so hard to do.

Treat your plants like children and evaluate what they "logically" need. You'll never go wrong this way. Your 'babies" can't tell you in English language what they need, but they will communicate in their own way and you only need to learn how to listen. Logic should always prevail.
