Ron's Carbon Copy and Greens Doctor Frosted
Hi. I'm trying to locate a few of Ron's Carbon Copy cherry tomato and Green's Doctor Frosted cherry tomato and am no having much success in locating them online.
I would like to grow 2-3 of each, so if anyone has some seed they would share or sell I will much appreciate hearing from you. Thanks! Don

I do have some but I don't know if you want these. They came from a swap, trade or giveaway and they're F-7 and I don't know if they're true to type. I'm sure they're close enough if someone grew them out to F-7.
Send me your address if you want them and I'll get them out.

If no one responds about the Green Doctor's frosted, I have some older seed of it from a trade. I never grew them out. If you want to chance it, I can send the 12 seeds to you. It's 2010 seed.

Is Green Doctor and Green Doctors Frosted the same?
Thanks Rob. I think you send me some Boucoup Creole seeds last year or before. I ran across the envelope the other day going through my seed files. I'll PM you my address. Thanks Roper. I'll PM you my address also. Thanks to both of you. Don

iirc, this variety was named Carbon Copy at first, then after a few? years, it was renamed to Ron's Carbon Copy. I don't know if the renaming coincided with a reselection or further refinement, or if it was simply a name change. Surprisingly, neither one is listed at Tatiana's Tomatobase, which is where I'd usually look for history and provenance.

I got mine directly from Dipchip2000. I think I ended up with two generations from him because I lost a pack and then found it. I believe I have F6 and F7.
I’m really sorry about your health,Dipchip2000. Btw, I went to MED school in Tulsa and lived in OK for about 12 years total. Miss all those beautiful lakes! |
