covid caterpillar
Some caterpillar just ate one of my INDOOR tomato plants.
Never saw that before in my life. Must be an import. I put the tray outdoors just in case it's infested with others. |

It escaped by eating a hole in a plastic bag I had him trapped in.
Never saw a cutworm that big. They usually limit the damage to close to the ground. |

not in my garden... they go up the whole plant and chew on every tomato on the plant. a hole here and a hole there and hole over there and two or three on this one... over and over. they will ruin an entire plant of green tomatoes before you realize it.
