No, the largest indoor tomato that I know of is just under 4 lbs. Which I happened to grow a few years ago.

Thanks for the 'cut' lettuce picture; it helps a lot - I need to leave mine higher.

Congrats on the WR for largest tomato. Was your tomato edible?

Barb- don't cut the lettuce off,just harvest the lower leaves,they break off nicely, that way the plant still has a good supply of leaves to perform photosynthesis, if you just wack off the plant at a certain height you're hindering its future growth capabilities.
Yes the WR was very edible, they are great tasting tomatoes, they're not like a lot of other giant vegetables that taste horrible.

Update- Just did a large picking of 451 grams of lettuce, so now we've harvested a total of 9.1 lbs. These pictures are after harvesting.

Very nice; I started just picking the exterior Romaine leaves.

We're having a cold spell 39 low and last night was cold and super windy with huge gusts (40). This morning my leaf lettuce was flattened from the wind, the romaine looked good but I cut some full heads that were in the EB with broccoli entirely since the broccoli plants are so large now and have heads.

I can't wait to transplant the Muir and see if I can approach what you are getting.

Lettuce update, still producing, but not as good as last winter, we had a little aphid problem, so I had my daughter spay with neem oil and soap, she almost killed them all,but now they seem to be recovering ok. So far we've harvested a little over 13 lbs. The 2 red lettuce plants went to seed so I removed them. I haven't found anything as good as the Muir lettuce.

That's good to hear; the plants look great in the picture.

The muir I'm growing just like you. I harvested a bunch yesterday and took pictures a week apart. Here, it starts really slow and then grows faster.

For Florida, we had a cold Dec / Jan (many nights in the 40s) and then we went to summer in one week. It finally cooled down again.

For our summer, I bought a grow light and will try to grow it inside.
