Default Anyone grown "Midnight Pear"?

I got a packet of these seeds to reach free shipping on an order and was curious to see whether anyone had tried them.

I figure a black pear cherry is probably going to be a safe bet for tasting decent, but I prefer it when I have some feedback from people who with experience!

I grew it last year, and while the taste was not, in my view, outstanding, it was decent, and it produced like crazy. It was a delightful visual addition to my cherry mix at market!

Thanks! Good to know it's attractive as advertised and not a spitter!

How large are these? Difficult to determine from the picture. Did you weigh any? And are they sweet or more like a full-sized tomatoes?
