Marvin Meisner
I just heard that Marv passed away, he is the one who wrote the book on growing giant tomatoes. He will be missed by many! He was 84 and the last time I heard from him was Wednesday and he was out in his greenhouse and said he was going to grow the BIG one this year! We never know what tomorrow holds, but I know the One who holds tomorrow.

If I read the right obituary, he was 87. He was able to do what he loved until he died, can't as ask for much more than that. His book is still available on Amazon

I have his excellent book, he was one of the masters regarding the selection and growing plants that produced extra large fruit. RIP Marv, what a life....

It seemed he lived the life he wanted and pursued a wonderful passion and made a difference to many! May he rest in peace.
