Big beef Italian type
I was looking around to purchase some Big Beef tomato seeds and I saw this website claiming to sell Big Beef Hybrid Tomato Seeds (Italian Type) 2310. Are there different versions of Big Beef tomatoes?

I don't think so. Big Beef is certainly trademarked, lawyers would likely descend on anyone mislabeling something else, and Seminis, who owns the name doesn't seem interested in watering down their properties in the way some have.
I searched and found a couple of references that seem to use it as a descriptor. Perhaps it's a sales thing: many of their customers react to descriptions like that . I'm not certain I would, personally, because I might be confused by "Italian type". Italians have bred many kinds of tomatoes, so size, shape, color, etc descriptions make more sense to me Sent from my motorola edge (2022) using Tapatalk
