Eastern North Carolina Coast
Hi all
Relocating from the NC Piedmont region to coastal NC in the New Bern area and looking for suggestions as to what grows well here in the region and any seeds you are willing to share. I will be planting my variety of peppers the coming spring but looking to grow other vegetable and tomatoes that will thrive in the hot, dry summer climate. Since the soil is mostly sand I will begin building a Hugelkultur bed this fall and hope it will be ready for spring planting in March/April. Off on a new adventure. MB |
