I once hired a lawyer to help with a real estate issue and gave him a $1500 retainer. The money was disappearing quickly, down to $300. The issue wasn't getting resolved so I called to say I was done and asked for the remaining $300. I was charged $300 for the phone call and got nothing back!

True,most cases are settled in the elevator,sidebar,chambers,divorcee/divorces hotel rooms.
Count your fingers after shaking your counselors( a lawyers...lawyer) hand,foot whatever comes first.
Why do they say just like the doctors” come on over to my practice”haven’t they went to enough schools already,why practice on me.
For capital offenses you will have to hire a 4.0 graduate.
Ticket clinic,public defenders,the cool drug lawyers(pony tailed burnouts)require only 2.0 credentials.

They like the quarter-hour increment billing. Any small task can produce 15 minutes of billable time, even though the task might have taken just a few seconds. At $300 per hour, a quarter of that would be $75, and that is what they bill to send a one line email....even an email like "I am cancelling our meeting today." That email costs you $75.

Back when I was high rise as we called them then,stoopidintendent our company also did the tenant build outs.Equatrac was a company that married phone calls,faxes,those MASSIVE WORD PROCESSORS,the millions of office workers and those milllions of Sq foot..cubicles.When you called all info conversation( including the call to counsel when in the Bahamas)faxes,the paper the salary of secretary’s,lunches,flights,carbon copys,couriers(remember them.
,DHL worldwide)and of course the notary,were all slotted, grouped,copied,raised seal docs,printers charged to you under the guise of “blah,blah blah per hour PLUS EXPENSES!The company fell way to the computer as all the other infrastructures,beepers,analog phones,phone landline telephone booths to snooze with your honey.Oh well stay away from those lampreys,I say.

He was building it and bought a donor car for parts.
It was in such good shape he couldn't scavenge it.

I used to see that kid every day working on that car after school.
Rules were keep your grades up.
By the time he got his drivers licenses he had one bad ride.

My first car was a 1967 Pontiac Lemans that looked similar to the GTO, it was white with a black vinyl top... paid $250 for it in hard earned money. Always have been a Pontiac guy when it comes to muscle cars. The first car I was ever in that pulled the front tires off the ground was a 1970 Chevelle SS factory LS6 motor now that was a car!

Those old hot rods get a little light in the front end over about 130 mph or so Air Ride adjustable suspensions are such a massive improvement in handling that they don't take away from the value of the car, as being not original equipment. I see them a lot on cars going through the Barret-Jackson Auction on tv.

back to monsanto,

going to court with them can be a no win situation. they have the money to out last you, and the lawyers to obscure, delay or beat you into oblivion.

i suggest a new tactic that will keep the lawyers, and courts out of the picture.
its called notification of liability. we learned about it from in power movement.
you can look them up. under common law, and merchant law, you do not have the
right to harm someone. going through the court system with a lawyer you are in effect
giving up your rights. not so with a notice of liability.
i will share our experience at a later date once i know everything is said and done.
