Default New black tomato called Black Early Tomato

My first impression was: What's the name? Bur ironically the name is Black Early tomato. Has anyone grown this. If so can you give any feedback as to sucess and taste. Also, is is by chance derived from Early Girl?

There are a number of shops selling it. Here is one> https://renaissancefarms.org/product...-early-tomato/

Not so new. This is what Tatiana has to say about it:

I grew it once and quite liked it, but didn't think it was as tasty as Cherokee Purple.

Thank you both for your input. I haven't been able to find the Black Early seed from a reputable source, but I have ordered the Black Sea Man. Kurt, were you saying that the Black Sea Man did not work for you in hot climate?

I did look up cherry you recommended, but I am not a big cherry lover (unless they tasted just like Cherokee Purple or Black Krim)

The actual rays exploded the water in the mater, shading helped but as we know the sun will turn the maters to the desired traits in color.

The Black Sea Man and Pierce's Pride Are a good decision if you cannot find Blacl Early.

I Miss Tatiana & Dr. Carolyn; they helped me with many Varieties, Amen!

Some of the Picture of Black Early Tomatoes look like Pierce's Pride Tomatoes in Tatiana Site.

You can find Black Early at Delectation of Tomatoes website. I've had good luck with them. Ironically, they sent me Black Early as a bonus variety with ones I ordered this year. Seed started just fine, so I'll grow it out and see how I like it.

I've grown Black Early in Wyoming and does produce somewhat early. It is a pretty heavy producer too.

Yes, I did find Black Early at Delectation of Tomatoes, and ordered it. Thank you. He (Dale) seems to be a very nice man. I also ordered Black Sea Man
