Passing along a good seed source for consideration.

Welcome! The South Carolina Foundation Seed Association has served as a source of quality seed for seedsmen, farmers and gardeners since 1950. Our mission is to provide quality seed and encourage the use of varieties developed by Clemson University, other experiment stations and United States Department of Agriculture.

Our Vegetable and Heirloom Lists include vegetables, heirloom vegetables (many from the collection of Dr. David Bradshaw, Clemson University), herbs, sunflowers and sweet potato plants for spring 2007 planting. We are also offering seed of a number of varieties that have been Organically grown by Certified Organic Producers.

We look forward to providing you with quality seed and timely information. Again, thank you for visiting with us.

Thanks! There are a lot of interesting varieties listed there. Tons of beans and field peas.

Gary,
Thanks for the link. Ashley is my favorite cuke and I didn't know Clemson was the one to release it. I'm just a few hours away and wasn't aware of this program. Now we need to get some of the members in Greenville/Anderson to let us know if they have a walk-in sales desk.
