Default Plants in Cincinnati

I was up here a few weeks ago, and they didnt have all the tomatoes out yet, my dad only likes cherries.....

went to Funkes greenhouse on Gray road, down near Rahns and Osterbrocks-

Nice selection. Black cherry, large red cherry, Matts Wild, Mr. Stripey, Bradley, various blacks and yellows.... Very cool.

I did pick up a black cherry and some for my dad, but im mostly out of room at home!

and I think they were only 99c per start. theyre a bit lanky but nothing burying wont help!

We'll have 70 + varieties in spring 08, Godwilling and the creeks don't rise. Jerry came down to our sale and ended up inviting us to the CHOPTAG fest this summer.WHat a blast.

Toe Knee and I will start seeds Jan, Feb and Mar. Will have transplants ready 8 weeks after sowing. So, get your wall of waters or whatever else ready!!! Last year we set out 7 week old transplants out on April 27 and harvested our first tomato-a 24 oz. Pruden's Purple-on June 19. Can't wait to do it again!
