I found two pages, one in English and the other in Czech (with descriptions of each picture). The one in Czech is better and if you have Google translator, so I recommend this. ¨ https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slovansk%C3%A1_epopej https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Slav_Epic Vladimír |

Yes, it's Brno, the old center. I have lived all the time in the western suburbs, thirty years in the part called Komín and now forty years in Bystrc. For those not familiar, Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic with 400 000 inhabitants.

Sometime many years ago a dragon plagued the city, a hefty junior came and killed the dragon. Since then, the dragon has been hanging in the town hall. But in my lifetime it is the second or third crocodile. No, crocodiles don't live here. I don't know where they're taking them. In a town forty miles from Brno, the wheelwright got up early in the morning, made the bike, and rolled it (on foot) to Brno by evening . Thanks MrBig.
By the titles of epic and reciprocity, I was imagining something like the Albanian genocide in Turkey. I couldn't remember any historical reference to something similar in Slavic territories or countries except perhaps Bosnia. |

Isn't Brno home of the Cz factory?

Zbrojovka Brno - between the World Wars production of infantry weapons - rifles, light machine guns, pistols, after 1945 production of Zetor tractors, sports rifles, typewriters, tool shop, etc. ZKL - production of rolling bearings and tractors - today Královopolská strojírna Brno - cranes and production equipment for the chemical industry (oil pipelines, etc.) As far as I know, none of them had a special production of screws, it was in other state factories in the country. ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ Vladimir Last edited by MrBig46; December 5, 2019 at 02:24 AM. |

I don't like that winter. Still cloudy, humid and no snow. If you can, send me some of your snow, but not much. Just 20 to 30 cm. In exchange, I'll send some warmth. :roztomilý:

Love the puppy picture! Such a sweet face. What breed is your puppy and what did you name it?

Today's high is projected as -29°C, but right now we are still in the -30s. Unfortunately February is typically colder here than January. Last year we went 39 of 40 straight days through Feb/early Mar where the daily high temperature did not reach the average high. Please send heat...

Easter holidays are coming. In South Moravia, traditionally, these holidays include egg decoration. Especially in villages, the whole family is already starting to decorate eggs. It's not easy work, but the results are beautiful. Photos from the village of Blatnice pod Svatým Antonínkem (translated by GOOGLE Blatnice under St. Anthony) are taken from my friend Mirka Sekulová.

In America we dye eggs for Easter, but typically nothing so elaborate or pretty!
