Fred, I can see that you've been very busy setting up all the associations you mentioned above.

I've known Rob Johnston at Johnny's going back many years and when Tim first opened his High Mowing site, which is near me, there were lots of errors in variety descriptions, and I looked again a couple of years ago andthe site was vastly improved.

Someone in NH, whom I've known for many years, now retired from teaching and has set up his own website, told me he was doing trials, I guess, for you as well.

So what do you do for relaxation?

For relaxation? We started a tea company.... because nothing is more relaxing than herb tea.

There is a small chance it will be available next year. More likely the following year. It depends on how uniform the line is this summer, and whether or not the flavor consistently stays up to speed.

There is also always the possibility that we have to go back to the drawing board, if the flavor is not maintained this summer, or in future generations. It happens.

It is tempting to give beauty a pass on flavor, but we try not to do it.

Mild heat when young -- use like Padrons

Medium heat when mature -- great depth of flavor. Good for eating fresh or for drying and flaking.

Glad to see you get more exposure Fred. The Pink Bumble bee and Highland kale are ready for transplant and the Mareko peppers are popping up. As soon as I have room I'll get the Captain Lucky, Purple Bumble bee and Blush started. I can't wait for my friends and family to try them.
