Default KBX?

What is the difference between KB and KBX?? I'm assuming KB is Kellogg's Breakfast?

There was a thread about starting seedlings where the
subject of "crud" came up (some kind of leaf margin necrosis
in seedlings, without definite agreement on the cause).
Kellog's Breakfast was one of the cultivars mentioned by
several people as a chronic victim of this ailment.

That was one reason that there was so much excitement about
KBX. Apparently a lot of people like Kellog's Breakfast, but find
the crud in the seedlings annoying, and KBX was reported as
being usually free of this ailment while having size and flavor
comparable to Kellog's Breakfast.
