Czech OP tomatoes- my project 2014-2016

Carolyn,
Brutus is a Czech variety of tomato cultivated in Moravoseed. February 5, 2008 and was deliberately Moravoseed has this variety, all rights throughout the EU. Vladimir, this is what I wrote in my previous post here:

(The one from Andrey that's being grown out this summer sounds like what you are growing, but what about 1 or two of the others from Slovakia/Morovoseeds? Or are we dealing with the former Czechkoslovakia and name changes? So was it a CV from Morovoseeds?)

And you'll see that I was very aware of what happened to what we knew as Yugoslavia and suggested name changes to form Slovakia and the Czech Republic so I'm confident that what is being grown out for me this year is the same as what you are growing.

I also doubt there is anything that some might be calling Brutus F1 and also agree it could be a business tactic.

Thanks so much, and onward we go, and when I get back seeds for Brutus , fingers crossed, I'll let you know what the person said about it. He doesn't take pictures so it will have to be just word descriptions. He also doesn't have a computer so I have to call him, and should this week, to see how germination went with all the varieties I sent to him.

CV is shorthand for Commercial variety, which Brutus is, not an heirloom variety.

I had no idea that the original Yugoslavia became so many individual countries.

So when my friend and fellow teacher at the last place I taught gave me seeds for both Crnkovic Yugoslavian and Yasha Yugoslavian, the heart one,his name is Yasha Crnkovic, he said they were from the Vojvod region of Yugoslavia.

My question being, what country now has a Vojvod area?

I decided to do some Googling first and for Yugoslovia went to Wikipedia and found the following;

(The constituent six Socialist Republics that made up the country were Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SR Croatia, SR Macedonia, SR Montenegro, SR Slovenia, and SR Serbia. And there are found that Vojvodina and Kosovo were two autonomou sprovinces so it looks like what Yasha told me was Vojvod is now in Serbia,
