Tessa Sorry checked the name tag again and its White Beauty, not Great White,i do have a Great White but it`s about two weeks away from ripe.I love growing my whites and have found that theres not alot of difference in colour between the two, more to do with size, with Great White being the larger of the two.
Looking forward to next seaon where i will have Big White also to grow to add to the other two

HAHAHAHAHA funny, I usually put my 8 inch knife next to them for comparison too. These are my GW from last season. Mine are a few weeks from ripe still. Today I picked the first Cherokee Purple at breaker point, because we are going away early tomorrow morning and I dont want to miss it! It stayed quite small though.

Awesome pics, Kiwis.

Tess, the GMG is among my favourites too. Small plant, strong, sets in heat, good keeper, PL, and I have a bomb coming, a 1-pounder I reckon.

I'm so glad it came through in the end.

Yes very sweet. These were the late season ones, they were lovely. Got a few very beautiful and big pale ones. I have a lovely photo of one (with the knife) but I cant find which album its in. The earlier ones were not so pretty, yellow and stunted and covered in blemishes.

here's a closer look at the grub's mystery green with red stripes:

is that unusual?

Here's a 378 gram or 13.5oz GMG, the first for 2009.
And mighty fine on the tooth.
Sorry about the boiled egg lips

The usual patch pic or part thereof... late this year and plants haven't reached their usual heights by now and I am wondering if they will in this high heat.

Same for me in Melbourne Grub. Some plants are still quite short but plenty of flowers and reasonable fruit set.
Then i really just want to peak late Feb for my little tomato show at Marysville.
Very hot and dry here but at least there's 12 hours plus of tennis per day and one-day cricket to watch!!!!!

Been bagging flowers furiously because of the seed embargo into Oz.
