Great pics. Cloning the Rebelski is smart. I never thought of that. It's not patented, so a person could grow, and even sell, as many clones as you can root. With fruit trees that are patented, one is not supposed to root cuttings without paying a royalty fee to the patent owner for each one.
Using indoor space as a clone farm for an ultra-expensive hybrid variety like Rebelski is an interesting idea. The seeds are over a dollar apiece, and in looking at Johnny's web site, they don't give you much of a quantity break. 5,000 Rebelski seeds can be yours for just $3,493.25 |

Beautiful Gerardo as usual. Looks like you painted some of the containers. Assuming this was done to keep them cooler from the sun or more for aesthetics?

Thanks. A little of both, plus it inhibits algae and keeps the sun off the roots.

A humble start
Leningradskij Skorospelyi
Another two from this staircase plant with wind and hail injuries. A lot of the early ones I tried are so-so, Leningradskij is surprisingly good, and I must say that in general terms, the Soviet flavor profile really works for my taste buds. leningrad.jpg |

Yours are so far far ahead of mine, but the pictures make me smile, even when I am having tomato envy! The plants look great and very healthy.

What amazing success! I have a few greenies but with the cold and wind they won't be blushing for awhile. I have my shaker of Real Salt (from Sprouts, the best salt ever!) at the ready... Watching... Like a hawk... Eyes narrowed...

Thank you both. The big ones are still far on the horizon, hoping for a low hurdle in May June. You'll be here sooner than you think. I'll keep the green coming.
Salt on the ready, yeah. Furniture row is calling...confluence of events? Any variety in particular? |

Been looking every day but little time to say how great everything looks.
I have barely had time to look at my own garden. I wish we could get just a little sunshine here right now. Worth |
