Oh my gosh, I love that Sandy Point picture. I can just feel the wet sand, and hear the sound of my wet sneakers in the pools of water.

Love the pump pic (and what a cool design! it is. Like a herd of reindeer in there ).
Steve, I can really relate to those wild on water pics.
The sun came out here - briefly enough - after a heavy downpour of rain, and brought a flurry of spontaneous picture snapping at the window of opportunity. Shadows of ice bits/raindrops and high contrast from the persistent snow. Then fooling around, where to crop the unplanned pix... It is really interesting to follow this thread and try looking at things in b/w... a different challenge, how to balance values with no color. When I cropped the picture for a better balance - cutting out the 'gardenish' foreground, it changes the mood substantially, I think.
Anyhoo I feel like I'm learning something and a fun thing to do on a holiday.
