Kay, our thoughts and well wishes are with you. This area of research, treatment, and recovery has improved and continues to improve daily by leaps and bounds. My mom had it spread through her lymph nodes and is now cancer free. Keep your head up and and positive thoughts.

Hugs,
Ginny

Thanks for all of your kind words and encouragement. This has taken some time to get over the initial shock and then get resolved to do my best to beat this. If I cold not have grow a garden that would have really been depressing. I know I will have to scale way back this year but I can watch all of the exciting varieties you all grow so when I am stronger I can try them in future gardens.

Yes now you can focus on beating it. Glad you will have some plants and soon you will be back at it as strong as ever... :-)

Add my thoughts and prayers to the list of concerned folks here at Tomatoville. The diagnosis of cancer is, of course, terrifying, but breast cancer is one of the most studied and best outcomes. Treatment may not be anyone's idea of fun, though, but made much more bearable with current treatments of side effects. Sending hugs. Nancy

Thank you all for your support. I am driving my self crazy trying to decide which tomatoes I will plant for spring. Trying to be practical I was only going to have 3 cherry and 3 dwarf plants. The more I thought about I know I just can't do it. But I really am going to keep it down to 10!

For what it's worth Kay, I had two types of Lymphoma, stage 4 that was in my lymph nodes throughout my body. That was almost 10 years ago, and I'm still kicking.

It is an unbelievable shock when you hear those words, but the shock will wane and you will just have thoughts of beating it like so many have.

Kay, you'll be in my thoughts and prayers, too. Breast cancer research has
come so far in the last year or so. I think your garden will help to keep your spirits lifted and looking forward.
