Still LOVING the taste of my Maglia Rosa maters. Usually, by this time of the year I prefer other varieties, but this year they have been exceptional .

Secret Sauce is a famous west coast hemp variety
MR is one of my favorites. Someday, I would like to grow it by the acre. |

Interesting Carolyn! I will have to put an extra one in the ground next season! Did you know that some people confine the poor things to hanging baskets?!?!?

Not everyone has a 4x4 area . I had no room left but one runty MR that I potted into a 2.5 gal. It requires watering twice a day and I won't do it again though I got great fruit from it. This has been a cooler summer and I would hate to water this small a pot in a hot year.
Last year I grew it in a large container and got a large plant. Growing in-ground is not possible here with too many tree roots competing for every drop of water. People in my situation have to make do the best way we can. It is possible. |

Not criticizing GrowingCoastal. I grow MR in a 3 gallon pot and will continue to do so because I can start them extra early and bring them inside during inclement weather. I have to water all my container maters twice a day, but it's worth it .

Just realized I meant to share Marzano Fire from Artisan, and not Secret Sauce |
