Already I've got more varieties I can ever grow in this millenia .. But I won't say no ... Just remembered that I ordered some Russian / Ukrainian tomato seeds and I also have those mysterious China seeds.. and and..

To quote one of my (basically) unreleased tomato disasters...

"(Piece of) Crop", they know where I live.

Well, because of this warm weather, some of my raspberries are starting to leaf out a bit.

So, my plan is to transplant my blackberries (much LNGER, sharper
THRNS) around the perimeter of the house, and give them an extra dose of Miracle Grow.

Your packages will be delayed... only because I'm out of packing tape (where's Nicky when I need her?), and more little baggies. Your packages should go out on Monday. I can just imagine your responses when you read they are in transit.
And, I'm not so cruel as to mail them on Thursday, when you wouldn't know if they would arrive on Saturday, or the next week.

Tormato, you wouldn't really do that, would you?!

I might be driven to seek out strangers for tomato seeds! Think of the risks, I could end up with ( drum roll here, please) (okay, enough dam drum rolling, this is MY scene after all!)

THE BAD SEED.

(I SAID stop the dang drum rolls!! geeps, you give a voice a part and they try to scene steal!)

Or even seed for Killer Tomatoes! Oh my goodness, KT's taking over the world, we'd have to eat our way out of trouble and I may not have enough salt or bacon!

What if I end up, standing on a corner, in the snow, with one of those card board signs saying "will work for Tomato seeds( Beans and peppers, too)".

Or loitering suspiciously near seed companies, begging pitifully for "just a little seed, friend, can you spare a seed? I haven't had a good pack of seeds in more than a week, please help an old lady, spare seeds, any spare seeds?".

What if Aerial is with me? She'd get some of my seeds!!!!

What if Aerial and I get busted and sent to the big house for getting illegal hybrids and then we'd have to ask the judge if the prison had a garden area?!!

What if the Jolly Green Giant is our garden guard and we find out just how he does keep his leaf skirt thing all together- I could be traumatized! And no good conversation from him, all the GG ever said was "Ho, ho, ho, Green Giant!" like anyone couldn't see he was green and a bit big. And just where did the Jolly Green Giant get The Little Sprout anyways?

What if we got put in some 15 step program for seed junkies and we stage a coup and create a seed cartel? You know I would keep forgetting the secret handshake thingie.

Waiiiiit a minute.....a seed cartel, hmmmmm. Lots of seeds and felco pruners...

Aeriel, come over here, we need to talk!!!!

LOL.

The other voices made me write all that.

Imp you are amazing! I give you compliments on your wonderful humor and ask to enjoy it a bit longer. You and Ariel say that I am mean. To address your concerns:

You already have turned to strangers for seeds. You turned to ME! Then you turned to all of the strangers here a T'ville by joining a swap that you had no seeds to swap for. I ought to turn you out to the corner and make you do a little dance for seeds. I could make you hold your little metal cup out while you do a jig. Perhaps someone will drop a seed or two in.

A seed cartel. Hmmmm. There already is a very Secret Seed Cartel. Maybe I will let you join. They have some GREAT tomato seeds there. They do not even make you wear a mask but of course you may if you wish too. I bet that they would enjoy you in your Tigger suit. Oh, forget the dancing and the jig, just do what Tiggers do best and bounce around all over the town in search of tomato and veggie seeds. Perhaps you could bounce higher than the Jolly Green Giant. Wouldn't that be nice! While you are bouncing around the Jolly Green Giant, please look up his leaf skirt for me. I have always wondered just what was under there.......

Shall I continue... No I will just adore your sense of humor and be glad that there are a few more days before your seeds have been sent out by Gary.

BTW please look up the Secret Seed Cartel. They have some nice seeds for you to spend your hard earned money on.

It came! I can't believe how many seeds are in there! Thank you to everyone who sent them, and especially to Tormato for putting it all together.

I think I'm going to need a bigger yard...

My seeds came!!!

I had to laugh when I saw the note for what to grow for 2016 MMMM. It definitely helped me narrow down the maters I'm growing next year. Including the seeds from the swap...somehow I've accumulated close to 400 types.

I think this is the part that I have to say, "...I've been bad, but can I get some more Earthboxes for Christmas."

Gary, Thank you so much for organizing the swap.
And...thank you to everyone that helped make it possible.
It's been very exciting.

And, you'll have to wait a little LNGER, as I don't know where you live (lost my note on that?). PM me a mailing address.

Tormato

P.S. I figured I could slow you two down (knowing where I live) by substituting a Sweet Banana label into a pack of Yellow 7 Pod Brain Strain pepper. But that would only work next year, and only for a day or so.

Received my seeds a few days ago! Holy pepper seeds, Batman! Next year is going to be so much fun. My husband got all giddy when I showed him the Carolina Reaper seeds. Meanwhile my collection of tomato varieties has officially doubled again. I'm up to around 250 varieties!

Next season is going to be so much fun! I'm off to try to find the box that had my pocketed three ring binder inserts and organize my seed books...

Thanks so much to everyone who donated to the seed swap, and of course Tormato for orchestrating this event again
