I opened my early Christmas present today - it took just six days. Awesome work Heather and everyone who contributed!
Now I get to spend hours of enjoyable research time learning about so many new (to me) varieties! Perhaps I should start by searching TV archives? And another thing - now I really MUST get access to more land to grow all of these - and hire someone to market the delicious fruits, and... |

Seamsfaster, you hit the nail on the head with that one. I had soooo many seedlings left over , and I gave many away, and I could not just toss them out, and eventually they withered and died due to neglect once the toils of weeding and such got under way, then I felt awful, like an abusive/negligent parent or something!!! OMG.

Well, I got back late last night, said hello to my wife and made a few minutes of polite "how were things while I was gone?" conversation and opened my package. I am amazed at the number of varieties on my wish list that were shared!
Heather, thanks again for running the swap! And thanks to all the participants that shared such a wonderful variety of seeds! I thought I had set my 2012 grow list already, now I've got to go back and research some of the new ones I recieved and re-evaluate everything. Since it was 12 degrees outside this morning when I got up, it's good for me to have some gardening work to do, even if it is just in my head. |

Heather,
While waiting for my package... If a shih tzu ate a bhut jolokia, that would be one hot dog. Relish the thought, Tormato |

LOL....I can't imagine my little shih tzu being that brave. Habaneros are about as tough as he gets ...but even then...he seems to stick mostly with mild/medium. So maybe that makes him more of a "sissy dog" instead of a "hot dog". He seems to know his own tolerance level just by smelling something. Funny though....he used to love tomatoes....now he just turns his nose up at them. Go figure. We used to grow cherry tomatoes specifically for my mom's other shih tzu when he was still around. This little guy has some funky taste buds that's for sure.

Heather, I received my seeds yesterday, and was delighted at the selection and number of varieties. You are doing a fabulous job; thank so much for doing this and thank you also to the TVillians for being so generous with the bonus seeds! I can hardly wait for the upcoming growing season.
