Now that it's September, it's probably about time for some participants to start on their paperwork for the MMMM.
For starters, at the top of the page, please list a legible return address. Below that, your Tomatoville username (and an email address if you'd like). I'm not going any further, for now, because wish lists can change quite a bit between now and the last call (late October) for wanted varieties. |

OK, I've read the thread. This is my first season in TV and my first full year back to gardening after a move and a hip replacement!
I'm a seed saver with tomatoes and beans but am rebuilding my "library." I'll be able to donate to the swap but will do better in future years knowing that I'll be saving more seed for the swap. I also understand that this is a MMMM: it's mostly a mystery. What's more amazing is that Tormato & the TV community take their time to do this. Thank you! |

Tormato I have two sponsors for my first year here. Do you order the free flat rate bubble mailers from the USPS or the flat rate boxes? They drop them right off at your door no charge.
Do you have the sticky blank shipping labels and use your printer for the addresses? With today's tech I could just pay for a label thru paypal and email it to you. I could even send you a link to the label on one of my websites to print out. Of course you will need to get some money for your printing cartridge/labels/tape. No since in paying the post office twice to ship a free bubble mailer from them with another free bubble mailer inside. ( I hope you understand what I am saying.) I could just paypal you that amount. Towards supplies or what ever... Just thinking out loud here... |

Sticky blank shipping labels??? I'm not going there. I've had no luck on this computer trying to order the USPS flat rate padded envelopes. So, I could use about 20 of them (if someone would like to order them and have them sent to my address). And I, and this computer, may be off-line until about October 3rd, or so. I may, or may not, post this Friday or Saturday prior to the above shutdown. |

Gary, there are 30 of them coming to your address...along with 30 more that I forgot to see if they were padded or not until after I had already ordered them.
So in 3-5 business days, they'll mail you 30 padded and 30 regular 9.5 x 12.5 envelopes. oops and they didn't cost anything. |

Oh, oh, oh. I'm going to have to participate! I don't have that many seeds left though, I don't think. I'll send a PM or something later. I am such a n00b.
Also, everything stunted in my garden this year on the side that had straw or hay rotted overwinter: not sure which as it wasn't my side of the allotment last year. Stunted and then rotted. (So, it was the soil or a disease that spread through and not the seeds! I literally had corn that tasseled and it was only about 12 inches high. What the heck.) At least the seeds I have are for this year. Still. And have been kept cool and quiet in their dark corner of the closet in their mason jars. I'll peek when I have some time tonight! And... um. Being sponsored would be cool, too! |

Gary, are you going to be doing beans with this swap, or separately?

This year has been a crazy year for me, and I haven't even been on Tomatoville since about May. But I'm in again for this year!
I may not have all the varieties I was asked to save, but I should have most of them. I might have gotten all of them, but I'll have to check. I was so wrong footed all season, and so hectic all summer, seed saving was often thrown on the back burner. I'll work on my paperwork and wish list this week and get everything together and mailed out soon. |

As I said i'm in this year for the MMMM and the peppers, and the legumes, and whatever else. I'm fair game! I tend to share with coworkers, making them my little garden army. hahaha.
I will post in the spoiler thread of seed I have NOW and seed I plan on having when I mail in (probably mid october, we are still rocking out here!) I will also have enough to sponsor someone, so If any one is needing a sponsor I am here for you! Thanks to the person that sponsored me last year (Philigardener I think?)

Thank you Raiquee for the pepper sponsorship! I just sent my tomato seeds last week - just under 200 packs of 5 - 10 seeds each. (I hope to send ones that are more rare next year). I guessed that I should just include the same postage - had the postal guy tuck the stamps inside. He looked at me funny - I showed him that tomato seeds are flat - told him marijuana seeds are rounded. (He seemed to know about marijuana seeds himself.) He smiled, taped my package shut and off it went Thanks again - I will watch for any additional directions. |
